The 4 band controller can control all your cars. I use it for my cars to save batteries, although the range is a little short.

that four band controller is the one with boost capabilities right? does anyone know if the skyline 3 pack is a booster car?

Shypo 01-09-2003 12:26 AM

the skyline 3 pack is not a booster, just a standard 35mhz chassis

krillin52 01-09-2003 12:31 AM

And finally to actually answer the kids question without needing to get a 4 band controller (which I still can't find)

Get chassis on the same frequency. You can't race them against each other, but you can just buy speed sets and save money over buying a whole set of controller and car.

yeah, even their regular Bit Char-G kits are expensive. I only go to sheldon's for body sets and booster kits. b/c they are cheaper than some online sites [xcept ebay]
