Body lowering: best way to make new notch?

Like the title asks, what is the best way to make the new notches/ holes in the body to lower it? I like the handling of the ZZ, but the body sitting so high looks ridiculous, and I have to do something about it, and soon!

Cool, thanks! Guess I need to go out and get myself a Dremel tool. Don't know why I don't have one yet, but that will be remedied soon.
