Hot Wheels KIT racers are the US version of the Tomy Bit Racer guided track cars. They are available at most toy stores for about $6 a car. You can use the motors, batteries, tires, and "heatsink" clip in your BCG. The gears and axles will not fit unless you modify the axles. Even then, the gear ratios are too low unless you are running 2+ cells. The bodies will not fit without considerable modification, but they are very lightweight, and would be good for racing. 6 bucks for a genuine Tomy 2.2 or 2.6 motor, 50mAh NiCd cell, tires, and other misc stuff isn't a bad deal at all.

Actually you cn easily pull the 4.57 with a 2.6 KIT engine and one battery. The 3.95 also works but the 3.43 is really bad. You can pretty much only run these gears on flat surfaces like tile and such. They just keep accelerating the whole way.

ne one know whats exactly in each pack? i bought all four... (im a dork)

1) mph/kph [i know this has the fastest motor... i think]
2) rpm [i think this has the best acceleration... ne one actually know the gear ratio though?]
3) slalom
4) energi

i have no clue what the last two have... i think energi might have a better battery...

RPM and MPH have the 2.6s, the RPM has the useable gear ratio, blue, and the MPH has the super high gearing that I have in my signature and cannot use.

The others have 2.2s and different gear ratios.

BTW you don't have enough torque to get up to speed fully with this gear ratio, maybe you could top it out over a long straightaway of smooth, grippy surface, and your car would have to be perfectly aligned so it wouldn't spin on during acceleration. I'm still playing with my Shen and this gear setup with a 2.6 from a KIT Racer.

ne thing special with those tires? i notice rpm and mph have colored tires.

*edit*

also do you happen to know the gear ratios of each car?
