A PCB/transmitter question
 

I've got the oportunity to pick up a couple of THOR (bullet) clone pcbs that I plan to use for a swap. My question is does anyone know if the zip controllers will work on the clones.

not 49, don't know 27
 

Couldn't get the 49 MHZ to work with the ZZ, but don't know about the 27. I used a Shen-Qi Wei for the 27 swap.

Let me know if you get the 49 Thor working. Also tried a 49 "Super Racer". No luck on that one

Thanks for the info. I was going to buy the pcb's. I have a 27 clone but can't seem to get my hands on a 49.

i used a super racer clone for my 49mhz and it worked fine i got it at a gas station for 15 bucks funny thing is it said 49.83 mhz

I have 2 super racers (45 and a 27, also from a gas station) which body is the 49mhz the package doesn't have the freq on them.

the frequency was on the stand that the car sits on and the body was white but i dont think it was a real car kind of looked like a civic

The two Super Racers I giot a hold of both do not work with the ZZ controller (49).

One was stamped 49 with a "3" next to it and the other with a 49 with a "2". Opened both controllers up and the freq on both xtal are 49.860, which matches the zz'a. So I think it got something to do with either the LPF or the receiver PCB being off compared to the zip.

i just checked the bottom of the clones controller and it says 49mhz4 on a blue sticker next to the batt compartment i guess thats what you should look for man i really got lucky on this one by the way this one is different from the first clone i bought [27mhz] this controller is gray and the batt a blue 1.2 volt 60 mah batt rather than a green batt with no writing on it

I'm giving up on the super racers. The ones I have are $15 and there is no freq on the bullet, the freq is only on the batt cover and the controller is black. Anyone know what clone has a 49 freq?
