hown to you lower the chhassis of the Bit?

btlmr 08-13-2002 04:16 AM

Remove the stabiliser bar. I didn't lower the chassis on mine, I lowered the body on the chassis.:D

striderpunk 08-15-2002 11:18 AM

the stabilizer bar broke off my car already

cowfish_29 08-16-2002 03:48 PM

then its probably...lower?

Wedginator 08-16-2002 03:54 PM

Don't take the stabilizer to lower your car. You'll get horrible handling.... The way to get a "lowered" look of the car is to put another set of rear wheels to replace the front wheels.

Another way is to lower the car is to lower the entire body.... Up to you on how to do that....

_NiTrOuS_ 08-16-2002 05:02 PM

oh, ok i think ill lower the body because i dont have another rear wheel

Neon_Skylineboy 08-16-2002 05:28 PM

how do u lower the body?

was ist los? 08-16-2002 05:39 PM

you could make a body kit and make the car appear lower with epoxy putty. usually this is available at your lhs.

Wedginator 08-16-2002 09:35 PM

One way of lowering it is to use a dremel and grind the slots where the chassis tabs go in.... grind them till you get the right height.... the rear is easy, but the front is a bit more tricky... then fill the unwanted gap with putty.....

TheFanMan 08-16-2002 11:52 PM

you might want to buy one those stabalizer kits since your done went and broke off.... or buy some springs when QFM comes back

does a lowerd ride improve performance any?...probably not THAT realistic to real life physics.....

Wedginator 08-30-2002 09:53 AM

Nope, I don't think so. It just looks better. :D

Redfire 08-30-2002 11:49 PM
