Can you change the frequency?
Is it possible to change my frequency from say 40mhz to say somethign obscure like 1337 mhz????
Cheers Az |
Ummm NO!
To get the 1337Mhz frequency you'd need a totally different radio design. Now there should theorectically be a way to change between the available frequencies. Also remember in the US if they catch you messing with unauthorized frequencies, jail time and fines are pretty big. |
ok, cos i have a 40 and my 3 mates have 27, can we change to say 49 and 34???
|
not really...yes in theory you could.
Best thing to do would be to get clones of other frequencies and drop those PCB boards in. |
lol i can just picture the fcc stopping by my house and busting me for useing a toy i bought @ a toy store... i HIGHLY doubt youd get into ANY trouble for useing unauthorised signals.. if anythign the ppl you bought it from would get into trouble.. not you...

He is in Aus anyway, not sure what those blokes think of messing with signals.
