Best Racing Body?
 

My vote would be for the Honda S2000, even though I don't particularly care for the body style.

It seems to sit lower and has a lower center of gravity. There is no rear spoiler, so it might even be lighter too. Has anybody ever weighed a Bit body?

What is your best racing body?

hmm... yeah good point, i myself own a s2000 and altho i still go for looks :p the car itself sits much low and the shape of it also explains why (the smaller roof thingy, which angles alittle more than the other bits, which of course you get much more speed as air could flow freely above.) Having the spoiler on or off, i dont think it'll make any difference by weight, i mean does it even weigh anything?!?:confused: hahaha the amount of decals i have on my car probably weighs alittle more:cool: but yea strongly agree with ya, the s2000 "maybe" the best suited race body style, unless some1 can explain why not...?

Doesn't seem to me that they have enough frontal area that a sharper sloped windshield will make much difference, that and they don't go fast enough for wind resistance to play a very big part in thier speed/stability. And how high the body sits will make virtually no difference on the center of gravity, since the vast majority of the cars weight is in the chassis, and that is always at the same hight, wether the body sits high or low. These cars are slow enough that body shape won't make a noticable difference, and the bodies are so small and light that the lack of a wing will also not make noticable difference. That's how I see it anyways. But if you are looking for the sleekest wingless body out there, go with the Speed Racer Mach 5 body:D

aerodynamics dont matter on cars that dont even go 5 mph:rolleyes:

aerodynamics don't really matter, its not like there is a constant wind or lack of wind. I would race without a body if it really made a difference. Someone should weight most of the bodies available and see which is the lightest.

i say the accord is the best..its the ongest so u can pt the most batteries in it:Di would put the most powerful motor and put as many batteries as i could fit and make it into a dragster:D
