[IDEA] IRC Chatroom
 

I was wondering mabe tinyrc could get a irc chatroom using "MIRC" and it would always be up for bored people to go talk.

I agree, I was trying to put one up last night......but I couldn't connect to Dalnet. Or any other service around here.....only got onto the Undernet. I'd prefer Dalnet due to the fact that they have Nick and Channel registration while most of the others don't.

If Tiny decides to put up a chat room, it would be in his best interest to avoid the huge servers such as dalnet and undernet. There are alot of great smaller servers that have chanserv and alot less troublesome people. ;) Tiny if you need anymore info on mirc chat servers just let me know :)

ok, first thing, quit double posting..... this has already been mentioned.........

anyways, we sorta got it sorted out, just get aim and join the "tinyrc" room........ add me to yall's lists "TinyRCguru".......l8r

I was thinking of Dalnet as a TEMPORARY fix. I'm well aware of the type of people that scour it's servers. On another note, I'm trying to locate the program that can link MSN & AOL users. I'm thinking of trellix??? I can't remember how it's spelled. I'm an MSN messenger user wil AIM issues and not willing to switch.:D

Why don't you download MSN Messenger???

Ok people, I've found it......it's called trillian. It can connect those that us MSN, AOL, YAHOO, and ICQ. Trillian version .74 is a free download @ www.download.com

Sorry Tiny and all that this is a wee bit off topic, just trying to bring some understanding and conformity (hahaha) to the masses!

IRC is stupid to use for just a chat room. IRC is best used for file sharing and stuff like that. People who have never used it before will have a much easier time chatting in an AIM chatroom or something like that.
