well anyways, I'm sure there's some technical advice to be offered here, but i dont know what it is.......... just one of those freak things that happen...... I mean cmon, whats 20 bucks?......l8r |
i have a 2 shens.. one dead.. i wouldnt open them cuz there like easy to mess up on the inside.. thats why im scared to do a duel cell mod to one.. errr

Colt I had the same thing happen to me when I did a duelcell mod with my first Shen. I thought the battery was all the way down but it wasn't. Press down pretty hard on both ends and make sure the batt is fully seated. My battery was up on the "-" side about 2mm. Hope this helps...********also make sure the battery is in the right direction*********

the reason it works when it's charging in the remote is that the remote sends electricity directly to the bit (if you open it up you'll notice that the charging points are connected to the battery and also to the circuit board), so if it is working on the remote, and off it it's dead, then you must see why the battery doesn't send electricity to the bit, check for bad contacts between the battery and the mettalic connections between it and the bit
