PCB crip cap removal failure
 

Last night i soldered off the crip cap on the car's PCB, and was testing before reassembly. Much to my suprise, my new MS Lancer no longer functioned. Period. Careful examination of another PCB showed no stray solder, or loose connections of any type. So i resoldered it, and it still didn't work. Oh well, what is 30 dollars anyway

sorry to hear about micorkeg's misfortune but this is a good example of why you shouldnt work on smt without the right tools and knowledge. my friend solders stuff everyday and wont work on that stuff cuz he knows its probably gona break.
