I just got a Zip Zap
 

I finally got a zip zap. I walked into the store yesterday and I could choose between 5 different cars. I got very lucky. But there are a few things I noticed. I don't get very good range and the joy stick things on the controller are not very comfortable.

I got the silver porshe but I changed the body to the fast and the furious green eclipse.

did they get a new shipment?

the one by my work had all of the accessories but i didnt notice any cars today. but they had a whole lot of both fnf kids.

bah I called the local stores they all said they dont have any cars in, weird today everyone posted threads bout getting parts and zipzaps but I can find anyone....

Well, there is sort of a way around being on "the list"..


Goto a radio shack, sound really desperate, and you may be able to have them call another store with zips in stock , and have them let you buy one or two.

I'm not saying it will work, but it has.

ya that might work but every store within an hour driver of me is out, and they all have like 3 page waiting list...lol

The one that you should have got is the Blue Honda civic beacause I just got that one yesturday and it has a long range because it is a49 MHz and the other one is the 27MHz which bad range in the house

Dang it, i bought mine as soon as i herd about them, i went to RS the next day and they just got a shipment that day, and i was the first to get one, i been trying to get the F&F kit that was inpossable to find, and i just got the motor kit and tire kit for Christmas, and i wanna get another car, but i stoped at one of my semi local RS and they were out of them...

i cant wait till i get to so i race my friends and kick some arse.

Welcome to the club! The range is easily fixed by swapping the antena on the control with a longer antena! You can get one from and old radio or buy one at radio shack! The control knobs are also modifiable, possibilities are endless!
