Wont Charge

I just got a digiQ fairlady Z, and it only charged twice. Now when I place it on the controler to charge, no charge light appears. I have tried new batteries, etc. Any Ideas?

Thanks,
Alan

Sorry to hear your having problems. Here are some suggestions:

Make sure the car is off and the controller is on. Try taking the car in and out of the charging bay. The contacts on the bottom of the car may not be making good contact with the contacts on the controller.

Hope I've helped :)

Figured it out... THanks

It is weird... If I just leave the car in the charger after about 2 minutes the charge light comes on. This is only if the car is totally dead. Happens if I leave the switch in the on posisition on the car. Anyway thanks for your advice gertman. I have some new goodies on the way.

Now...

when you get the Propo Special Controller your problem should be fixed. If NOT than, there is something up with your car.:(

well i am having the same problem right now. I have the pitwork skyline and the nsx-r and the ae86 trueno. Well for some strange reason the syline and the nsx-r are not charging at all i do not know what the hell is going on because i just got these. The trueno is fine i am suspecting its something to do with the fact they have lights. I tried charging with the car on but all that happens is the lights just flash, and when i turn it off and dock it the charge light will not go on. Any help would be appreciated i've only had these digiq-r's for 2 days!!!

Try placing the car turned on of the handset, and leaving it for 10 minutes regardless of whether the light is on or not. Just try it, you may be suprised to find the light comes on after a few mintues.
