Microsizer and Bit Char-A

I have a Bit Char-A on the 27Mhz freq. If I purchase a Microsizer Speed Set 27Mhz(that includes the car without the controller), will I be able to controll it with my present radio? or should I buy a complete kit and use my Bit Char-A for parts on the Microsizer?

What is the actual difference between the Microsizer and the Bit Char-G?

I cannot find a store that sells the original Bit Char-G in Ottawa, Canada.

Does anyone know of a store that sells it online in Canada?

What is the best all round car, Microsizer, Bit Char-G or other?

Kit

I believe you do not need to purchase a new radio, your current one will work. The difference, I gather, is the microsizers are the american versions of the char-g's.

elcal69,

Then what is Bit Char-G? UK?
I thought that Char-G's where American and that the Microsizers where Canadian versions of the Char-G's (sold by Hobbico).

Does anyone know how I can prolong my range on a Bit-Char-A controller? Here is a pic of the inside:

The Char-A's car PCB is a rev-4. Here's a pic of that:

Try adjusting the POTS (little white knub on your pcb)..as for your knowledge...BitChar-G is Japanese...CompactChar-G is Australian...and Microsizers is American...Canada has no company making them, we only get them imported.

Actually, I am gonna attach some Lego skis to the front end of my Bit to see how they slide on the hard wood floor (I would try it in the snow but there is none in my part of georgia. ever.).

I live in Canada. All I can buy locally is Zip Zaps. My personal prefernce is the Bit Char G, so I shop on Ebay. JDM rules.

In Canada, you might check out this website for BCG's: http://www.minime-rc.com/.

What is the difference between my Microsizer and a original Bit Char-G if any?

The only difference is frequecies. The Bit Char-g's come in 4 frequencies and the Microsizers come in only two. You could get a total of 5 different frequencies between the two. In other words, you can race 4 cars if they are BCG's and only two if they are Microsizers. The Microsizers are the USA release of the BCG's from Japan. You can find out what you want to know here: http://tinyrc.com/forums/showthread....&threadid=1712
