They also do a 2.4V 150mAh, its a more rectangualar round shape, but much much lighter than the 2 cell mod!!!!!!!!

Are these cells only available in the UK? Anyone in the US seen them?

scottyboyfun 12-18-2002 10:19 AM

i dont know about in US, its meant 2 be for backup systems,ie the cmos settings on a pc motherboard, but we could use it.

Its a PCB mounting ni-mh ,do a search for that.

shocon2k 12-18-2002 05:05 PM

Judging by the picture only one type of battery in that category will fit in the chassis of a bit, and it also says they become fully charged in approximately 14 hours. That sounds a little shifty to me. If anyone finds a battery that they have installed and driven around and works, please post up your findings.

JBit 12-19-2002 12:21 AM

which battery is it? i cant figureout the size - 1/3 AA? 1/2 AA? 2/3 AA?

tino 12-19-2002 12:47 AM

Bit batt size is 1/3AAA

Draconious 12-19-2002 12:53 AM

http://www.maplin.co.uk/products/mod...58&modulecode=

The 14hrs is a trickle charge from a computer mother board...

scottyboyfun 12-19-2002 05:53 AM

I hope u all havent bought the cell yet!!!
I went 2 maplins and found that it was a little larger than which they said it was!!!! It will not fit in the existing battery holder w/o cutting it about!!

But it may fit in the bit under the pcb,but ud have 2 move the capacitor, Im gonna buy 1 and c how it fits my clone!!!!

Yhey also do a 2.4 v ni-mh like this,but i couldn't c it because they didn't have it in stock. I'll keep u posted.

scottyboyfun 12-19-2002 05:56 AM
