Need some help
 

Hey everyone. I am new to the Tiny RC cars. I got my first car the other day and I bought a Microsizer. I love it and I am getting ideas for MODS right now.

Heres the problem. I was opening up the car, lookin around and when I opened the clear protective cover over the circuit board, I snapped off the two white clips toward the back of the car that locks down the clear gaurd. What do you all suggest to fix this or is there something I can do to get another one real real cheap. Also is this common to break the clips on this clear cover?

You don't really need that cover but a little tape should hold it down. If it broke that easily, it usually means you weren't gentle enough when removing the cover. No biggie though.

Dont feel too bad I did the same thing on my Msizer. I just let it alone and I dont see any need to mess with it. If anything the car will run cooler now:)

Crip Cap
 

Thanx for the responses. I have another question though, on the Microsizers is the Crip Cap on the car and controller, or just the controller? I am about to starts modifying it and I haven't seen a clear answer to this question.

As far as busting the nubs on the PCB cover...I've got about 6 Bits/Msizers and maybe 2 of them still have all the nubs in place, "Casualties of Mod" they are. ;)

And you haven't been able to find a definitive answer to the crip cap question because there is NO definitive answer.

Tomy DOESN'T want you to take out the crip cap and therefore they get crafty with the placement (like some of the Supras have the crip cap right on the PCB)...My suggestion; take out the crip-cap in the controller (if there is one) and do the antenna mod to the car
