If you got it in the automotive section, it could be a couple of different things.
If it is a "bondo" type filler that you have to mix with hardener, then it's probably not good for bit bodies, too heavy I think. If it's just a putty meant for scratches and blemishes in paint, then it's probably not good for bits either. I thought that a 2 part epoxy filler was the putty of choice for this kind of stuff. |
i broght it in the auto section. it just say glazing & spot putty on it. its like a toothpast kind of conatiner. so u just sqreze it out i guess. i havent opend it, cuz it might not work good 4 bits. just need some advice b4 i use it.

You're out of luck man. Go back and return it. I've heard that people have had good luck with a product called JB Weld

It's been known for a long time that several angry posters over there purposely stick around just to give bad advice. They constantly hand out damaging advice to newbies. It's not a very good referance and I personally wouldn't even refer an enemy over there. It's just a guess, but this may be Tiny's reason behind the block. It's a funny board to read. I never post there, but I get a kick out of the purposely given bad advice. I feel bad for the newbies, but the moderators over there asked for it from what I hear and witnessed.

Yeah, but the link i gave had pictures of a guy modding his plastics with JB weld. Looked pretty good too. damn.....

Just went and saw it. Looked pretty sweet. He says it's a Chevy Suburban, but it looks just like the Ford Expedition I bought.
