Sixth Dead bit please help.

I am a bit frusterated right now. I was sodering a copper antena onto my booster bit. I slipped and my iron hit a small black thing on the bottom of the board near the spot were the antena connects. The black thing (it looks just like the crip cap on the top of the pcb of normal bits) fell right off. I think it is called a jumper but I am not sure. Now I have my 6th dead bit. The black thing is gone. (fell on the floor and I am far to frusterated to hunt it down) Does anyone know if I can fix this some way? I have tried to resoder the crip cap from another bit in it's place and it still does not work. Any suggestions please? Even a cheer up better luck next time will help. Even if not posting this helped me to vent some frustration. Thanks in advance.

Sorry to hear about your losses , maybe you can be creative and come up with some kinda jig to help hold things steady while you are soldering. And make sure you use a low power(watts) soldering iron so things wont happen so fast.:(

Wow, sorry. I know it is a bummer. Don't use a soldering gun (instant heat) on small circuit boards, it can ruin them because they emit an electrical charge. Instead use about a 30 watt soldering pencil. This should help slow things down so that you can think as you work also. A small hobby vise isn't too expensive either, and is helpful when doing modifications. Better luck next time.
