making 1/24 scale track
 

Has anyone made a track for 1/24 scale cars (ABC DTM, Dynamite Rocket Racer)? We're considering building one and would love to see others' designs and learn about materials.

Thanks for posting that. Looks great. What are the dimensions? What did you use for the track surface?

Overall dimensions are 21' by 11'. The surface is 9 sheets of 4x8 particle board, and I used garage floor paint. The surface (since it is particleboard) is nearly purfect. The surface is grippy enough, but not too much so, and the cars have very realistic sliding ability.

Lane width is 20". :D

any1 try making a drag strip?:confused:...i think i might be 2 long tho...i dont kno how do the math..im only 13....but seriosly...that track looks hot...i might make my own some day... wit turns like lugna seca( i can't spell right..i need a dictionary)ima start playing granturismo more often make make 1 butiful track...can't wait till christmas!!:D
