I am a newbie to this but still have this antenna mod to offer

The cat 5 mod is great but if you are like me you need something more to spice up the car

1)take a pen and take the spring out of it

2)stretch the spring out to your desired length

3)then take the obdy off the car and insert(screw in) the spring into the antenna hole

4)expose some antenna wire and attach to the inner part of the string

5)then cover the attached segments with sone tape or something so they do not touch anything else in the car

6)put the over back on hiding the original wire under the body only exposing the spring

Did it improve the range?

I havn't notinced a big improvement
I might suggest doing the cat 5 antenna fix first then putting a spring on

a copper pring might also work better, mine might be bronze I don't really know, it just looks really kool

btw/ can anyone tell me if I can put a zipzaps body on a micromites car??
