Springs Above & Below

OK, I'm away from my cars at the moment, but I had an idea that might give a smoother running suspension.

Instead of just installing springs above the front wheel assembly (see the mod at QFM), put a small section of spring below the assembly as well, so there's cushion on both sides of the travel.

Comments ? (I can't wait to try it out and see if it works!)

Ooo, yeah, sounds good; keep in mind that this would also lower the car, right?

Sounds good, but I had a nightmare just fitting the normal springs!! :)

Actually, lowering the chassis was part of the point (just so long as you still have enough clearance so nothing drags). I think this would be a good mod to combine with the big tires up front mod.

However, the dynamic tension between the two sets of springs should also make a more stable ride.
