That's pretty neat.... i have one question... is the digi q car have digital proportional steering and throttle?

slotsurfer 04-28-2002 05:59 PM

With the conversion you would only have proportional throttle on the BIT charG.The Digi Q uses tank type sterring it has to motors one for each rear wheel.

yes
the digi q car process the amount of throttle and steering and then control the speed of each motor to make it accelerate/turn

That seems cool from a tinkering stand point but from my point of veiw YOUR KILLING THE BITS SOUL!!!!!! lol but seriously that seems like alot of trouble to switch to something that can be blocked by a vase.....

Hi,

This is Harry who made this BC"Q" board for BitChar-G.

Basically, it is a DIY product for whom like to build up a different BitChar-"Q", which have following benefits:

1. NO Antenna
2. Speed control by the Digi-Q's R/C ( propotional speed)
3. Longer running time ( due to PWM speed control)
4. Additional flash light ckt on board (police car, safety car in F1)
5. F.W. L/R turn, more reallistic than Digi-Q

It is really whole new feeling about TinyRC car!

Oh! by the way,

If you do not have Digi-Q's R/C, but own a Palm PDA device, there is a freeware can simulate Digi-Q's RC on Palm.
