3.0 motor
 

How fast is a Z-Car 3.0 motor? I found one on the internet in a pack of cones and stuff for $7.99.

If it's faster then the one that comes stock with the Z-car, it's gotta be pretty sweeet. All in all, everything about the Z-car seems to be of pretty good quality.

i dont got the 3.0 yet but the 2.6 seems to be pretty nice.

one note. my friend got a zcar about a week ago. it was nice until it stopped working for no reason last night. hes an engineer and could not see the problem at first glance but didnt wana dig too deeply since he can just take it back. it sucks cuz that car was pretty sweet when it worked. oh well i think im gona go pick up microsizers tomorrow

I don't know how fast a stock Z-Car motor is. I was going to put the 3.0 it in my BCG clone. So I just wanted to know how fast it is.

It's pretty quick. I upgraded from the stock motor to the 3.0 motor and gearing and timed in 10' trials with my stopwatch. I ran 3 times and averaged the times. The stock motor ran 10' in about 4.5 seconds and the 3.0 motor and gearing had me running 10' in 3.2 seconds. Pretty impressive I thought.

3.0 was worth it for me. I have a BlackKnight with a 3.0 and the silver all stock. Major difference. $5.99 for the Z-Cars 3.0 speed kit with gears AND CONES!!! :D
