Do tires make a differance
 

Do tires make a differance i mean were talking about a mini rc not a suped up honda civic but really do they make a differance, if so is it worth the money

If your driving on a dust ridden kitchen floor like mine, it just doesnt matter....youll be drifting whther you like it or not :D

Now if your on a track or somewhere with a nice clean surface, tires make all the difference. with slower motors the tomy set is nice...for faster motors use hte harder bit racer set (microsizer set IS the bit racer set).

I've included tire definitions below to help you with your tire choices. For dusty rooms, the bit char-g set is nice, but for tracks, might be too grippy and cause problems. Just mix and match sets until you get hte best frnt, rear match possible. to stop flipping use harder tires on the front. purple front and pink rears are a favorite for me when runnign a potent motor.


Bit char-g

pink = soft

purple = medium (stock tires on yyour bit)

blue = hard


bit racer

knobby tread = soft (not sure but i think it may be softer than the hard bit char-g tires)

no tread = medium (beware, these are not hte stock tires...make sure you are aware of them if you mix your tites into one bin)

ribbed tread =hard (very difficult to mount on front wheels, i recommend smushing hte tires flat and rolling htem in your fingertips for a few seconds to warm them up and ease mounting)
