Excellent Job!

Hey hbarer,

Nice work! :D :D :D

Does the body just sit on top of the chassis? or does it connect somehow?

How about a tutorial on what you did?

kombatgti 11-16-2002 02:26 PM

what did you do to hold your motor in, looks interesting.

hbarer 11-16-2002 03:37 PM

not done yet

thanks for the compliments

the body slides in and
fits snug to the chassis
i used plastic from a vhs slipcase
to adjust
the front and back of the
chassis and sides of the body so eveything
fits tight
the motor is wired in
and shimmed with a snapped off
razor blade
i'll ost more pics when i
finish the paint

great car, love the muscle cars. how bad does the die cast slow it down, if any? i wanted to do the same thing with a die cast mustang boss.

hbarer 11-18-2002 08:19 PM

diecast slowdown

its pretty fast
but it has alittle trouble
off the line
but once it gets goin
its pretty good
turns tight
and doesn't flip
for nuthin
havent messedwith the gears

wait'll ya see it
