WHOA!!!!!

I can see this is gonna go up to 30-40 bucks easy!

Either this dude made them and is gonna make bank, or he got them somewhere and is reselling them! But DAMN that's SICK! I like those 5-spoke alloys :)

andy51289 11-10-2002 12:48 PM

I just wish that they were made out of a lighter alloy...Maybe Magnesium or Titanium?

NorCalCoug 11-10-2002 10:59 PM

lol, if they're billet aluminum, that's pretty damn light. Titanium or magnesium would be really expensive.

BlueBlaster01 11-12-2002 04:16 PM

twice the width...That would be awesome for people witha 3.8 motor, dual battery mod etc.. IT WONT FLIP ANYMORE due to the added width...hmm I might have to bid on those!!!!

That's right.... I have some of these and they weigh in at a whopping 2.7g (all 4 rims) 4.5g (rims with tires)
These things are awesome...

Payaso was it really hard to put them?

Im asking because I heard from other forums that is very hard to put them.

Im really interested to purchase a ?pair? (how would you call them)

payaso 12-04-2002 02:19 PM

These are a set.. (4 rims 4 tires 4 hubs)

These were extremly easy to put on. I've also heard that they were difficult, but maybe the company is making them different now cause of that. The hardest part was taking the original wheels off the white steering knuckles without breaking them.

How did you remove the rear wheels?
Did you use tweezers?

And for the front you did it the way QFM suggests?

Zakkorn 12-04-2002 02:45 PM

I forgot to ask you, did the tires come with the rims as a set?
Because they are wider than ordinary bit tires.

Thanks

I saw your Gloria in the Gallery.
Very Good work.:)

Did you use spray to color it?

The rear wheels just come off with a little tug. I tried to remove the front wheels like QFM suggests, but had no luck....

The only parts you'll need from the car will be the white steering knuckles and the gear from the back axle.

You will have to buy new axles to make the back axle and the pins for the front wheels.
Just pull off the back wheels and take off the gear. Cut your new axle to the lenght you want, then put the gear on. Measure everything twice before glueing anything, and make sure the car runs good before you put the hubs in. If you need more details let me know.....

Yes, the tires come with the set. They offer slicks and treaded. Mine are slicks, cause they didn't offer anthing else when I got them, but I prefer slicks. And yes, I painted the hubs to match the color of the car. I'll post a pic in a few...

Remember that you can't use the old axle, or pins. You'll have to buy new ones...

Another question...sorry about that:rolleyes:

Did you bought them from the German Site?

If yes, then in the Set that cost 14 euros they inlcude the tires?

Thank you very much for your help.:)
Especially for the info of how to put them.:D
