My Test Track
I just finished setting up a temporary test track so I can practice racing my MS Skyline.
Later I'll need to find a way of making a permanent track that can be taken down and stored. Let me know what you think of my first attempt. http://home.adelphia.net/~darthracer.../bitTrack1.jpg http://home.adelphia.net/~darthracer.../bitTrack2.jpg |

Not bad! :D

Thanks. :)
The surface of my dining room table is a little slick. The rear wants to whip around on turns, even with the stock motor. I need to try a soft set of tires. |
That looks really nice:D the best surface i had raced on was drywall my car has really good traction on it thats what i made my track out of the only problem with it is that drywall is kinda heavy

That's neat

Hmmmm....We don't have an extra table kickin around our house, so I think I will just set one up on the kitchen floor. :D

Ok, I set up the most pathetic track in our kitchen a couple hours ago. I made it out of duplo blocks, and just had them form a track. They were not connected together, and so when I hit one brick, it knocks 3 or 4 more out of the track :( It was no good, so I destroyed it with my car :D.

the famous "B" style once again!!! :D
hmm...maybe too short for fun competetive races... but good shot... |
Track in the making...
I have a plan...
I have the materials (4' x 8' pice of 1" flooring board, hinges and a 4x8 section of garage wall) I need suggestions on what to surface the board with (before lanscaping). I had originally intended to put a FINE sanding/finish to the board and then "blackboard" it (however, chalk dust plays wurder on the bits)... still planning on the sanding to a smooth finish, just wondering if there is anything aside from painting the board that I should be looking at as far as the actual "track" section is concerned? |
