Just how long do the 3.8 motors last?

I broke down and purchased a few NiMH batteries and a couple 3.2 and 3.8 engines today. Anyone with those engines know how long they will last? At $11.00 a shot for the 3.8 I’m really hoping they will have some life in them.

i had mine for like 2 months already and no probs yet besides studders once in a while
