Just removed crip cap...

After installing a telescopic antenna on my bit, I was still getting bad range, so I decided on removing the crip cap on my car if it had one. Checked info about it and seems like if there's a crip cap, it's suppose to be between L3 and R9. If not, then it's on the other side of the pcb. Looking on my car (Skyline GT-R Set) I found a cap somewhere between those two, however, it didn't connect them both. Instead, the cap (labeled 25), was connected from R9 to the blue antenna wire. Does anyone know if that's the crip cap for my car? As of now, it has been removed, and range has been increased, but I'm just checking to be sure that I didn't remove something vital from my pcb. Thanks for any help...

Yfactor,

That was the cripple cap that you removed. I have the Skyline GT-R Set also and I removed mine. It was exactly as you described (labeled 25) and I almost doubled my range when I removed it.
