MicroSizers?

I just came across Microsizers by Hobbico in a shop trade mag from Hobbytown USA. They have the same exact look as Tomy's Bit Char-G, as well as the same upgrades, and same style controller (different colors). They are marketed domestically so i was wondering if this is a license from Tomy? Has anyone seen these yet?
Thanks,
mcfitch

Yes, they are the official US version of the Bit Char-G. However, they only come in 27 and 49 MHz frequencies. :(

So does that make them less powerful, or it just has fewer frequencies to use. So that you could only run 2 of them in the same area?

Do they have all the same available hop up parts as the Tomy versions?
Thanks,
mcfitch

It just means you can only run two of them in the same area.

AFAIK, all the same hop ups will be available. If not, I'm pretty sure the Japanese versions will work. The cars will just be in a different box with english instructions.

yep same cars, same bodies, same controller, less options:(

FYI we will be stocking these shortly.

Tinyrc,
What will the prices be for these compared to the Tomy versions?
Thanks,
mcfitch

Pretty similar to BC-G pricing actually. I have yet to find out if they have a Min. Ad. Price, as they are listed at $35-40 some places, but we want to offer them at $29.99 or lower if they will let us.

are most of you still loyal to the originals? or thinking about purchasing american ones?

That's a good question; we've created a poll here to see what the public thinks:
