PCB Mod and Dual Battery Mod are both safe?
I have done the pcb mod and no reverse mod. I am planning this weekend to do the dual battery mod as well. My question is, is that is it safe and how many of you out there have done all three mods with success??
Thanks for any replies to this thread. |
I don't know how safe they are in the long term. No one has reported any problems with burning anything out though. But, just so you know, the no reverse mod and the PCB mod route the electricity entirely differently, and if you do the no reverse mod, there is absolutely no need whatsoever to do the PCB mod.

or you could buy a bit or a bit clone and not have to mod to get a fast car.

But modding's kinda fun though.:D

modding is whats it is about i have all three and still going strong, i did pcb first then dual batts then the no reverse. i tried to undo my pcb mod but when i sucked the excess solder of the pcb it sucked up the resistor and when i tried to but it back it flew off the table and is now lost in my carpet otherwise i would have only done the two thats what i am doing right now to my civic

thanks shaggy modding is what it is all about. The same thing happen to me with my pcb mod I sucked up both the r16 and r19 transistors. Just wanted to make sure I didn't want to nuke my zip zap. I guess once you start modding these things you just can't stop.
