with the Season 2 Championship Race in its last month, Olaf may have locked up the prize with a respectable performance in this weeks club race. it marked Vincent's return from a 6-week stint in his home country (Belgium) and the south of France but the time off didn't seem to affect his performance. he was able to best Olaf who had to start at the back of the grid due to his absence in qualifying. both had tire troubles midway thru the 30-minute test, but Vincent came out with the favorable result. there was a battle within the middle of the pack the entire final as Ian, Marc & Hugh exchanged positions on several occasions. Hugh was working feverishly to keep pace but could only best Dahm, who brought up the rear in 7th place. as always, the mood was pleasant and everyone enjoyed the laid back competition + excellent food by our extraordinary chef, Joom! :D

not sure i understand the christmas tree porsche...

does the group prefer technical or speed track layouts?

MrNanoTrax 06-06-2010 11:28 AM

i just included that one cuz Dahm (our only thai participant), went and got his PN Racing Aluminum Wheels anodized in those colors. i'm not sure why he mixed the 2 sets with different styles/colors, but we're its really up to each individual how they 'decorate' their car(s). most prefer layouts like the current one where they'll get some high speed going and one can get some benefits from using a high torque motor. more than likely, i'll go half/half on the next one but i haven't started brainstorming yet ;)
