MC3: Exciting news- Kyosho IC Lap Counter/ Peak AAA
 

Kyosho America has opted to bring the IC Lap Counter system from Japan. This is the same system we use for dNaNo as it reads the built-in tags on the bottom of the dNaNo cars. Paired with the amazing and free software 'Zround' this setup is truly awesome. Combined with the RealTracks 16" or 24" track, you can now take the experience home with you. Then when you've practiced and got your car setup, come back to the shop and race with us on our large, fully featured/supported track. Units are now on the way from Kyosho.

Peak Performance is legendary for providing the best performance batteries. Great news; Kyosho owns them and have chosen to release a line of AAA batteries. We've got several 4-packs on order which you'll definately need to try out!

I have the ics timer as well but it's my backup to core. I honestly prefer the core. FYI, you can still buy core units. So long as your not using the bundled software that comes with the ics system, it's good though. In comparison to free alternatives the home ics software just plain sucks.

Curious, what is kyo USA retail price?

US list from Kyosho America is $529.99, however there is no MAP (minimum advertised price) so people will definately find cheaper at LHS like me.

Stores will need to see at better price than ebay. Cheapest I see is around $355 USD plus shipping. Like around $380 Cdn plus shipping, etc...
