Unbalanced steering
 

I'm experiencing unbalanced steering with my dnano. While it can handle a left turn easily at top speed, it fails to take a right turn. I can trim the steering angle, but then I'm not able to take the same angle as I can do in a left turn.

I found some similar topics about this, but none of them had an answer. I've uploaded a video to illustrate my problem:

BTW: My dnano specs are stock, but I'm planning to upgrade with a ball diff, alu rims an PN Racing tires. The ball diff might solve the problem?

There are several places to look.
1)Have the tx steering settings been changed?They are adjustable independently side to side.This is done by turning the steering wheel to the side that turns less and giving trim inputs in the same direction,this increases the turn angle.
2)Clean the car good.Make sure there are no fibers wrapped around the front spindles.Also go on and check the diff for the same and re lube and reassemble.
3) Check the steering for smooth operation make sure it is not sticking on one side while upside down laying on a table.If it sticks this is a sign of a broken steering gear and will have to be replaced.If this is the case you will have to tear the car down to a bare chassis basically.It will take a little bit of time and is somewhat of an aggrevation but once you do this you will know your Dnano intimately and there will be nothing you can't do to it.Just take your time and pay close attention to what goes where and put it back in the same place it was.

The video you posted the link to.That problem could be caused by tire wear from normally running in the other direction.We run on carpet and a road course so this is a rarely seen problem for us.

I did try to do this, but i need to decrease the steering angle to much in order to solve the problem. But with that angle I cannot make a proper turn. He can take the left turn at the maximum angle, so it should be able to do (more or less) the same in the other direction.

This was the first thing that I did, but the problem remains after cleaning every possible part.

Steering is still very smooth, but I will check this again in detail.

This was one of the things that I was thinking about. But after switching the tires from left to right, the problem still stays in the right turn... I would assume that it would reverse the problem. Anyways, I'll replace them with PN racing tires asap.

...try this: spin both front wheels by hand to see if they turn freely, chances are, there is grit in one or both wheels so they is a slight amount of binding. Clean out the front wheel bearings/bushings (make sure you upgrade the stock bushings), and see if your problem goes away.

If my steering trim changes on a car, it's almost always because a hair or something is in one wheel hub or bearing.

D'nano's by there nature, usually turn-in sharper one way than the other; (somwhat mitigated by a good ball differential setup). I have yet to solve this problem completely, but is quite minor on a good track with an upgraded car and the correct traction/tires.

one Issue we found on an F50 was that one front spring was mounted upside down!!.
So go and check if both springs are mounted correctly.
