Anodizing

Mike,
what are your color options for anodizing?

what are the factors that go into deciding to anodize a lot? is a min. qnty needed to make the process cost efficient?

what is the additional cost for this added service?

Any updates on this? Where can we go to get parts anodized, and can we get Kyosho's blue aluminum re-anodized a different color? I like their blue on the Dnano, but it doesn't always jive with other bodies. Would like to see some red's, plain silver, gold, green, et'c.
Keep us up to date here..........

1. waiting for updates too.
2. good question, can we mail in parts for anodizing? ohterwise, has nothing to do with aluma-tech. are you asking for referrals?
3. has nothing to do with aluma-tech unless answer to 2. is yes. i dislike blue/purple parts period. i prefer natural silver, black or maybe red, pn orange

The problem with the blue aluminum, particularly for the MR02's, is it looks too much like the blue plastic. No way to visually differentiate the two.
Red is nice depending on shade. Gold is a sweet color as is light green as seen on some helicopters. And of coarse, as you said, good ol' PN orange.
I find black also look's too plasticy for my taste. Maybe a gun-metal or other dark gray?
