Cars transmitter
Has anyone tried using the transmitter/charger for the Cars zips to charge an earlier generation zip? I tried holding an earlier zip on the charger last night, and the light went red, then green, but when I tried to run the car, it wouldn't go. I checked the voltage going out from the two contacts, and the Cars tx had twice the voltage (makes sense, since it uses four batteries vs. two).
I'd like to try and rig a charging unit on the Cars tx, because it feels better, and has a longer range. Can anyone help? Thanks.
