Shock Upgrades!!!! Home-made!!!

all right, lastnight at like, 2AM I had this idea... search for e-clips big enough to go on the micro-t's shocks. that failed. But, I found some of my old lego's in a box near my old RC stuff from when I was a kid, and I had this idea... and, it turned out, they were the PERFECT FRIGGIN SIZE!!! the first picture is what the lego piece looked like (sort of) before I removed the clip on the end. I had already removed it before I found it would work, so I just laid them next to eachother. I used six of these pieces total, 2 on each rear shock, one on each front. the second picture just shows what part you want to remove (if it isn't obvious) the third craptastic picture tries to show the rear shock, how I clipped them above the spring. I hope all you guys out there used to be lego fans as kids, cuz if you weren't, good luck finding those pieces, I don't even know where to buy lego's anymore.

this video is a short one I made after the stiffeners are put in. you can see it bounce pretty well. For those of you who know I weighed my micro-t down to get traction on hardwood, the new stiff shocks keep it from bottoming out during minor maneuvers that it did before with the weight on it.

the video capabilities on photobucket suck, sorry if it's hard to see.

I made shock collars out of RED automotive butt connectors.(its what was laying the closest to me-lol)
I just used a utility knife and cut two out then cut a small opening so they can be popped onto the shock body.works great for lifting the sagging rear end.

instead of everyone trying to compress the spring and looking all over there house for a small enough pieces that will fit why do you guys just stretch the spring they might not be exactly the same but im pretty sure nobodys planning on winning a national title with one of these
