Been an EXTREMELY long time since my RC flying days, but I seem to remember *really* *tiny* plastic hinges (with a single small metal pin for the actual hinge, that was thinner than a sewing needle/pin) that were used for the control surfaces of the planes (rudder, ailerons, elevator, etc...).
You might try "Tower Hobbies" (or any other large hobby shop that carries RC planes) for these type of hinges... they could easily be glued/epoxied/JB Weld(ed) to the inside of the doors (as well as the hood) -:) |
I know the micro hinging is an option, but if I remember correctly, most of the others that have been done on this board just used rubberbands glued to body and panels.
Or if you want to take a hint from some larger scale models and fabricate your own... http://www.briansmodelcars.com/tutor...ID=1&CurPage=1 |
