22B STi, GSR Impreza
low, mean, and can get sideways any-freaking-time i want it to. "GSR", in case you don't know, is my little xmod team i started over at xmw. this car will have GSR decals at the very least, and maybe a paint theme.

Color0,
Can you/ Did tou buy your PCB board seperatly, or do I have to go buy an Iwaver to get one? Does the Iwaver PCB improve speed? Was it easy to solder? Thanks. EDIT: Btw, I ******* love that car, nice job! Where'd you get that bodY? I can't find one anywhere! |

Only if someone can do delrin gears for the gen 1 Xmods we would be all set, yea right. Just not enough people messing with them anymore, everyone is into the evos now. |
more torque, more throttle steps, more steering steps.
not that i need the extra torque, with li-ions and hard tires, but... it's a fun car to drive. edit: al9spike, i got the iwaver as an xmas gift and decided i didn't like drifting an RM IW01. so it went into this project. the iwaver shell is about 5g lighter (body perception scale...), but less top-heavy than an xmod shell. it's also very flexible, i can't forsee breaking anything off it anytime soon. i'm not that bad of a driver either, so i can probably keep off the walls well enough to preserve this body. machining a new set of gears for the gen 1 wouldn't be too hard design wise, i simply have to find the right size gears for the bevel and the diff, plug them into my design program and make a .dwg file out of it. heck, i could probably design a better ball diff as well. but the cost of that's going to be so astronomically high i wouldn't start until i had at least 50 people interested. |
Oh, Sucks for me:(
|
an update: i made a lip kit and splitter for the car. despite the obvious imperfections (i'm no aznballa), i think the bodykit looks rather decent.
