cant turn
 

my 27mhz monster truck can barely turn and when it does it go's really slow and sometimes stops

Have you modded the steering motor at all? If so, it's the fact that the steering motor is drawing too much energy from the rest of the truck. If not, then try this:
1) Check your gears for fuzz and hair.

2) Check around the steering area, make sure that nothing is cought in the steering assembly (like fuzz and dirt).

3) If all else fails, you may just have a bad battery. See if Radio Shack will give you a refund.
