Lowered bodies

Can anyone help me out with how to lower bodies, I got a char-g toyota bb, and I wanna go for a lowrider look. Thanks

You can file of the tip of the front tab on the chassis and then make an exact copy of the tab in it's original state and glue it under the old tab, if its not low enough, then make layers of the old tab and glue it under before gluing the new tab on. Use super strenght industrial glue though.

Kinda like what I did here.

Lowered Front End

To lower the front end, d00kie's mod is the way to go!
I've done this to some of my cars with little or no trouble!:D

I haven't tried it yet, but a good way to lower the rear end is to cut a new slot for the tab to fit into.
Anybody do this? Did it work? Is it hard to do?

I think its the second or third picture.

DriveWRX, this is not my mod, killboy gave me instructions towards this mod so all credit goes to him.

I doubt I'm the first to do it but that's how I slammed my RX-7 a few months back. I didn't post pics until a few weeks ago though, but cutting a new slot in the back really works to slam the rear. :)

Lowering the rear sounds easy enough, but how do you make an exact copy of the front tab?

Get some scrap plastic and start filing.

I had to work with a bad small nailclipper file and 600 grit sandpaper. Took me pretty darn long to get the shape I want. You can try clipping of plastic if you are frustrated cuz you dont have a dremel like me, but sometimes to sheer force from the cut might force cracks where you dont want cracks to be.

If you have built model kits, the sprue trees sometimes have a tab thats thin enough to make a new tab with. The sprue tab usually has some words on it, like the model number, part number etc.

some one should do that except put a copy of the front in the back and a copy of the back in the front so that you could have front wheel drive with rear wheel steering
might be good for drifting
