Bad News and Good News

Badnews: Akura2 (professional photographer for a famous car magazine) and a respected forum member was involved in a motorcycle accident, which took place on 08/27/02. He is currently in the hospital. He was just recently transfered to the rehabilitation dept. I don't exactly remember the body parts that were affected, but it is serious.

Good News: God gave my friend a second chance in life. I am sad due to what happened, but at the same time, I am happy that my friend is alive. I wish this never happened. Period.

His request: Instructions of the Digi Q tank in english. your input would be greatly appreciated. A friend of his dropped off the digi q tank, but the manual is in Japanese, and he may be missing one more detail to make the tank run.

pictures of him in the hospital taken last night.

Sorry to hear that.

Anyways, heres the english manual you requested for.

http://www.toyeast.com/COMBATQ00.htm

Its translated to english but they on asking me to install the language packs, I suggest you don't because they always give me an error, so I press cancel all the time.

Final words, good luck with your tank and hopes that you will recover smoothly from your unfortunate accident.

Sorry to hear about the accident... but like you said at least he's still alive. My uncle was in a serious motorcycle accident about 15 years ago, he and his girl, at the time, got pinned underneath a conversion van. They were going around a corner on a mountain pass. They both we're alright after years of physical therapy, so I can sympathize with you.

To you Akura2:

May your recovery be swift. I got banged up myself a few years back and spent a year and a half in physical therapy, only thing I can tell you is have patience.

P.S. Enjoy that tank!! :D

Wow Akura2, hope you get better soon! :) Glad you've got the tank to play with at least! MicroRCEngineering, let me know if there's anything else Akura2 needs to speed his recovery, and tell him to get well soon! :)

Hi guys, thanks for the support. I am sure that Akura2 will be happy when I visit him and hand him a printout of this thread.

btw, I tried looking for the english version of the manual, but had no luck. Would anyone be able to give me a direct link to it? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Motorcycle accidents suck, I'm glad to hear he's doing okay. Have fun playing with your DigiQ tank in bed now that you have the english instructions. :) Also might want to print up the thread that has the how-to on setting the tank up for the first time (some people had a few problems with it).

I got to see those cars in person, and I am very impressed with the work!! I love the RX-7. The rims look good, good paint color choice, nice chassis. Keep it up bro.
