New joint cup on vette
 

Anyone else see this on any other cars? The cup is a smokey clear plastic. Looks thicker and stronger. Won't that be great if all newer cars have this and the replacement parts come thru with better joint cups?

My last replacement NSX had the clear cup joints as well. I use aluminum ones, so it just went in my stack of spare parts, but i was interesting to see the change.

I got the shorty clear cup on my Stang. My buddy got it on his AWD kit. So if you're going AWD, look through the packages!!

I got one in my AWD set after I took my other one back.

why don't you guys just use heatshrink tubing...i have a six cell with rwd and i used to snap those things all the time(broke about 10-luckily my local radioshack has a big graveyard bag of parts)
-although metal joint cups are lighter than the stock ones(if you combine the weight of both joint cup parts)
