total custom xmod

Well, i'm getting closer to finishing my xmod. A month ago (give or take a couple of weeks) I decided to get an x-mod. Being an American Muscle Car fan, i went with the Camaro. I was sooo stoked. I Planned on getting the upgrades for it, then it dawned on me, "I'm not like everyone else, so y should my xmod?". well after contemplating it for a while i decided to completly scrap the car (not the entire car, just the body, chasis, suspension, and go with something completly different.

My original plan was a hurse. i scrapped that idea, and went older, roughly 70 years older. I was down at wally world, and saw a 37 ford. I was like "this is gonna b fun.". Well on the way to the check out i saw a 32 3 window coupe. Well, the 37 was too big for the chasis, so that left me with the 32. After a couple of weeks of dremeling, the body fit. When i do something i go all out, and this was no exception.

What do u guys think? Sorry for the cruddy pics, i was in a rush and trying to watch my niece.

That is different for sure. I was going to do something like that with an old Mini Z chassis with the battery holders hacked off, but the body is a 34 Ford five window AMT kit. I never got around to work on it much.

Very nice. I would have never thought of something open wheeled but that's awesome. Something else cool is that the top of the front suspension towers look like webbers. :)

 Wow, that is VERY nice. I don't normally come to the gallery because it's usually not that great, but that's some top-notch work there. Now all you need is some polished aluminum control arms and that would send it over the top.

Awsome body work man

I find it a bit scary to drive open-wheel though.

Its mainly for show. I do plan on making it drag ready, got a 7.2v Li-Ion on order. Going straight i can do, but turns, OI! bumper car city. I look like a 4 year old playing bumper bowling, the ball hits one gutter goes back to the other and zig zags all the way down. I also plan on ordering an alum front end. :)
