carbon fiber driveshafts...
anyone have any comments on these? i just ordered one...
They're a lot lighter than the stock shaft. One disadvantage is that you need metal bearings, because the CF is more abrasive than the metal shaft, and will just tear up those yellow bushings in no time.
Well, how long will it take to tear up the bushings? I plan on getting a CF driveshaft before bearings, so just wondering if i should consider getting bearings first, or both of them at once.
where can i get metal bushings?
No, you are better off getting bearings from this site, they are cheaper, and are higher quality. You can get them here.

I bought a set and my car actually went slower. Then, after about 3 packs of batteries, half of them were seized. These bearings are JUNK. The TinyRC.com Dry Racing bearings are much higher quality. They're definitely worth the extra cost. |
