Go to the Microsizers web site for a store locator. Just put in your zip, http://www.microsizers.com

The Hobbytown on Satellite Blvd behind the mall has some.

Cool We should find a way to get together and have a racing party :D

Well if everyone is interested I say name a time and place and lets do this :)
I can offer up my place for a bit longer (should be in the new house in a few months) and if your interested I have a portable slot car track too.

Cool you into slot cars too? Me and a friend used to be way into slot cars when we lived in FL. Guy had a over 300ft track was a blast.

There are a few in Georgia that are commercial but mine is strictly portable. It is designed on two hollow core doors and hinges for storage and transport. The longest stretch is over 14 feet with the in field and other half being rather curvy. Full skirts and barriers and has 2 power supplies to provide max power with minimal surge. The only downside is that it is just 2 lanes but couldn't fit 4 in a fully portable layout :(
There is a guy in Atlanta that has 4 tracks, 1 road course, 1 oval, 1 tri oval, and the dragstrip. All are 4 lane minimum (except drag strip) and all are connected to PC for lap times. Pretty sweet setup but requires more space than I have. I'll get more info if you like.

I am interested in setting up some permanent tracks for a free racing club in Georgia if I can get enough interested people. I would like to host slot car and mini RC races and I have the space to do it. If you are interested in doing this let me know so we can put something together.

On another note when and where do we want to meet for some racing???!!!

JediYoda56 10-19-2002 07:42 PM

That sounds cool abd the tracks how would you do it? Trying to get together for racign would prolly have to be on some weekend dependingon how many peopel we can get together. I can orlly get me and another guy.

TheMechanic 10-19-2002 08:40 PM

Kajoq, The web site should be .com not .net, my mistake. To the others the Hobbytown on Satellite has some tracks in the back of the store but they might be a little big for what we need. Maybe once a month or so we could try to get together. Best thing to do is go for it and see how it goes.
