freaken weird. This one needs help
I did many searches but found nothing that would help.
I had my car all set up to work. It is a rsx with stage 2 top speed motor, awd, suspension kit. I turned on my rsx and drove it forward. It drove about 3 feet than it cut out. Now it won't drive forward. It will drive backwards though. I fixed the antenna the day before and tested it. It worked fine. does anyone have a solution? |
I'f that's all he did (install the stuff), and I'm running the same thing, he can't have fried it. try switching the batteries.

i have a similar problem but mine wont go in reverse. reading around on other forums that it is a blown fet that cause it . their is no one fet for forward oor reverse they both work together
|
does it stutter when it moves forward or not move forward at all?
|
it doesn't move forward at all, but it moves backwards perfectly.
My batteries were fully charged and it didn't work. does anyone know where i can get a fet that will fix the problem? |
your best bet is to upgrade to 4562's they have them in the parts shop here
|
ok il do it and see what happens. Hopefully it will work and i won't have to buy another xmod. (student loan is getting low)
|
4562?
btw, which kind do you have? |
i have the stock ones

I took apart my car and i found that the fets weren't fried. I played around with them to try to take them off. I pretty much did nothing and left them on. I tried accelerating forward and it worked. than about 3 or 4 seconds later the engine slowed down and then it sped up, 1 second leter it cut out. The engine still runs in reverse. Once in a while if I try to go forward it will but then it cuts out again. Could this have happened if I tried changing the car's antenna? If I can't fix it then I'm going to pay a visit to atomic mod website.
