Xmods, neither indoor or outdoor.
 

Its not indoor (home) because the average room is to small and the Xmod moves pretty quick in this environment.

Not outdoor because their to light and quick (prone to rollovers) and their just not built to roll over 20 times and not look like they've been beaten up. Mine after a 20-25 session had already lost a mirror to repetative rolls. the window edges look a big.. rough from pavement impacts.

Dirt cleanup is another issue. sand and crud in the gearing is a baaad thing.


ahhwell. its perfect for what i got it for.. to have fun with.

time for a breakdown and cleanup of dirt'n'crud... ;)

And to make it harder...
the Xmods have to be so complicated to take apart.

about 40 mins ago I finished the 95% breakdown and cleaning. then rebuilt it. so many damn little screws! Good thing im used to building PC's and such. makes it so much easier to see how to tear small stings like this down.

I even had to breakdown the diff!! it wasn't slippin like a LSD is supposed to. I have sandy ass driveway. 500ft of beachsand like unpaved driveway and 40ft of paved driveway that 3 different cars pull up on.. ends it up reaaaaally sandy. I got sand in places i didnt think it was possible to get it in this little sucker.

All of you complaining about how hard an XMod is to work on, try an HPI Savage. If you break ANYTHING, you have to dissasemble about 90% of it to accomplish anything.

xmods are easy to take apart....I can take mine completely apart in not even 5 mins

Taking them apart is easy, finding the right bloody screw to put back in is not ;)
