My stock zz mt...not!
http://216.77.188.54/coDataImages/p/...1299591zz3.jpgwhat is that little tan ideler doing there?
http://216.77.188.54/coDataImages/p/...1299590zz2.jpgwhat is that???it looks like a gear reduction with a bit motor!!! http://216.77.188.54/coDataImages/p/...1299589zz1.jpgindeed it is. its a highly modified se servo with a hardwired bit motor in it. it is slow but that doesnt matter, its for crawling. this thing has LOADS of torque!!!it can climb anything as long as its not too steep...what do you guys think?now i need to install the stupid capacitor that kept it from glitching, doh... :P i am going to enter this in some contests!like my shiny metallic rims also? |
Re: My stock zz mt...not!
more pictures after i rewired it to the capacitor thing that helps prevent interference. also a cleaner job.

Awesome job!
Crawling is definately cool. I've been checking out a set of servo gears from a crashed aerobird thinking I could do something similar. |
not really the same size, but i like your thinking!:D it would work just about the same, except the aerobirds gear might be bigger.
