Lithium-ion Iwaver with a lowered GT40 body. Total weight 162 grams, even with the aluminum wheels and ball differential.

Every bit as good as a MR-01. Some of the first 01’s had problems (binding) that lead people to believe that the steering had fewer steps than the Kyosho models however most of the early reviewers later retracted their statements. The steering servo resistor mod necessary to handle the lithiums even corrects the steering glitches found in some early 01’s. This car is one of my favorites, it is incredibly fast on the track but still controllable, and with the TX from a 04 it even has breaks, not perfect but usable after a considerable amount of experimentation. The hardest part was actually adjusting the ball differential to handle the power.
