Easy heat reduction to motars...
 

Hi,
I use to mod Zip Zaps but those were too samll..so now i am going to get a Xmod :D.
I see that you need a heatsink for the motars...so what you should do to make it work well is get some THermal Paste. Basically, the way you have teh heatink on the motars now it is just metal to metal contect. With thermalpaste it fills in the cracks to get better conteact...makeing the heat transfer ALOT better..this is used in computer and has shown up to 10 C diffrence...You can get some from any COmputer store..f you want the really good stuff get: Artic Silver This stuff is "the" best for it..or get some cheap **** for ratshack..

i can't say i've tried it, but i don't think it will work too well, the heat sink does pretty much nothing except weigh more. The heat that is pulled off the motor has no where to go. unless you have a fan mounted on the heatsink (blob of metal that they try to pass for a heatsink), or use a air induction method of sourts, it won't do jack. IMO, not having one allows heat to escape the motor and not get trapped by the heatsink.

I could see it *maybe* working, but the motors don't really get that hot anyway.
